The annual Conroe Cruisers fall event at Outlet Mall...I was accompanied and chaperoned at this event by a young lady who managed to keep me out of any serious trouble...Her only stipulation was that I enter her favorite car, my Challenger, in the competition...No prize however...

Just a standard camera focal test...Keep it moving...

My favorite Impala will always be the 1962 Super Sport...

My chaperone always manages to beautify any vehicle she stands near, even this stylish, modern-day Challenger...She even manages to make its owner appear smarter just from owning it...

My favorite car at this show was this old gas/class Studebaker...Halibrand wheels, straight front axle and all...

It's been decades since I've seen a real 60's Mini Cooper...

It's a real treat to see an original, well-kept early MoPar muscle machine...Note the red line tires and original style battery...

There never were many Plymouth GTX's built, and very few on the road today...

Even the golf carts get into the act...

The old panhandler was observed near this super-clean 1955 Chevy BelAir before wandering off to the hot dog stand...This reminds me of my first car,, as discussed here...

Showing her obvious good taste, my chaperone's other favorite car was this Camaro RS...She also got an education this day on the differences between small-block and big-block Chevies, as well as a lecture on why some early coupes were three-window design, while others had five windows...

My friend Joe needs a bigger house to hold all the trophies he's won with his 1938 Chevy coupe...

Another rarity was this Avanti II...First built in the early sixties, the design is as timeless today as it was then...

This older Dodge Power Wagon has been updated with a Cummins 4BT...
