These pictures are from a field trip to Hobby Airport with the Woodlands Camera Club...Mostly nice folks in the club, but a bit clannish, and not really helpful to a rank amateur such as myself trying to learn a little something about photography...

The 1940 Airline Museum at Hobby Airport hosts this "Wings and Wheels" event once a month...It's an interesting place to visit...Check their calendar of events from the link before you go...

Captions and links have been added to photos in this album...

Sorry, there's no front view of this museum volunteer, but I can assure you, she was a knockout...

Hobby Airport is an active airport hosting arrival and departure for many scheduled and pleasure aircraft...

Evidently they'll let anyone park here...

One of the local car clubs brought their nicer wheels out for an airing...

There was an eclectic mixture of cars...

Upper floors of the museum were unfinished at the time...

Plenty of room for new displays...

View from an upper floor...

There's always room for another Gooney Bird...

As the name suggests, the museum is housed in the original passenger terminal building of Hobby Airport...

Renovations were still underway...

Inside displays are very informative about early airline service...

This was given away in a contest...
